Description
Phyllostachys nigra Megurochiku is giant green bamboo similar to Nigra Gray Henon, but the culm grooves are brown or purplish-black. It has a maximum height of 54 feet and a 3.5" diameter. Running bamboo. It prefers full sun and is cold hardy to 0° F.
This is a "Mature" 5 gallon size plant (Not a Seedling) with well-developed roots. Plants may be trimmed at top to 3-4 ft. for shipping. Plants are shipped by UPS Ground with the rootball and some soil wrapped in a wetpack. Thanks for looking!!!
